The default playbook
wasn’t built for everyone.
Together, we look at who your systems reach, who they leave out, and what needs to change. The operations have to reflect the people you’re trying to serve.
My work across a latino-serving fintech, a media company, and a newsroom accelerator shares an audience, with different business models. That’s where the proof lives. The method travels.
Go where the community already is.
A job-board search returns whoever optimized for the job board. Sourcing in Latin America and the U.S. latino community meant targeted outreach into networks with actual representation, paid distribution in the right geographies, and intake in two languages: screens in English, answers in either.
Protect the trust that makes access possible.
A brand can’t buy its way into a community’s confidence. At a latino-serving media company, the newsroom was the reason brand partners could reach the audience at all. Advertiser delivery had to protect that credibility.
Make the standard shared.
Under-resourced newsrooms don’t lack effort. A program needs agreed definitions of what good looks like and by when. Definition of done, clear handoffs, and named decision-makers gave two cohorts a shared structure.
“The problem is rarely the people. It’s that the operations were designed for someone else.”
Give me thirty minutes
with the problem.
Bring one workflow, team challenge, or stalled project. I’ll give you my initial diagnosis: where I think the bottleneck is, what leads me there, and the first thing I would do to test or address it.
If something needs more investigation, I’ll tell you what—and why.
